Luis PantojaBorn in Caracas, Venezuela, Luis has a BS in Sociology from George Mason University and is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and French. He enjoys traveling, snowboarding and photography.

Luis fell in love with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu after watching the first Ultimate Fighting Championship, where it has proven that technique and leverage could overcome size and strength. He started training in 1999 under the tutelage of Mario and Fernando Yamasaki, and Francisco Neto.
